Marshall loves the life he has right now.  So what if most of it is lead on-line and with very little interaction with the “real” world.  When his one friend, Paige, drags him to a bar Marshall ends up taking home the drummer of the band playing that night.  But what Marshall thinks is a one-night stand that will not interrupt his life turns out into something else when the drummer, Tyler, keeps showing up and asking Marshall out.

Weighted Measure is an interesting story about how sometimes getting stuck in a rut can make us miss opportunities and how hard it is to break out of the “comfort” zone.  Marshall and Tyler are complete opposites in every way but in bed and it takes Tyler’s persistence to make Marshall see that this can be a good thing.  Weighted Measure is a fun read that should go on you TBR pile for that day when you want something with a little depth, but not really an angsty read.
