Some time has passed since the world was saved leaving Darien and Brennus to settle into a fairly normal routine again. Not for long though, as a mortal had obtained a most powerful stone one used to command the dead—the Ancient Stone. His plan, to control Brennus—beautiful Brennus—for it would be the only way he could ever truly be with Brennus. 

The Ancient Stone picks up from where Golden God left off and our heroes have found a bit of bliss with one another. Until of course, yet another wishes to have Brennus for themselves and remove Darien from the picture. The Ancient Stone has a quick-moving plot that held my interest start to finish. I truly despised the bad guy and totally wanted the two vampires to find their way back to one another. I highly recommend this installment in the Brennus’ Witch series.
