Discovering their commanders are using drugs to control
their officers, second-in-command Luka slowly weans himself
and his first-in-command Carson off of the mind-altering
drug. With the mission they are on coming to an end, Carson
and Luka are unsure of their future and the fate of the
soldiers under their command.
Tomorrow’s Gambit is a terrific Sci-Fi drama, with
the added bonus of the developing romance of Carson and
Luka. This story is not just a romance; it’s a story of
passion, suspense, and intrigue, with a slow build-up to a
climatic and satisfying ending. The soldiers have to decide
their fate, the choices being to continue as ordered,
knowing the outcome could be grim, or breaking free into the
unknown. Anah Crow did a great job with this story. I
really enjoyed reading Tomorrow’s Gambit, and
I know others will, too. |
