Callie Moore is about to lose her candy
store. Tobey Danville, “The Candy King”, is an expert at
helping candy companies sell more candy. The two of them meet
at a wedding, where both are miserable due to past
experiences, and they end up getting together in the
refrigerator. Callie doesn’t realize that Tobey’s the
consultant she hired to help save her candy store, though.
Will their relationship have any chance when she realizes who
he is?
Candy Store is a fun, hot,
quick read that I enjoyed very much. Callie is full of
contradictions. She has moments of insecurity and moments of
boldness, just like a real woman. Tobey is a hero any woman
could love: tall, dark, handsome, intelligent, and strong, but
also a bit insecure at times. Both Callie and Tobey have
unhappy romantic pasts, which make it difficult for them to
trust each other, but neither is willing to give up. Bella
Andre certainly did a good job on this one! If you’re in the
mood for a quick, fun contemporary romance, pick up
Candy Store. |
