Chief Financial Officer Tavey McDaniel is working insanely hard during tax season, burning herself out.  CEO Jack Kessler comes to her office on a mission to make sure she attends the company Valentine’s Mixer.  Will Tavey’s mother’s sexy, bright red rain slicker help her loosen up?

Slicker was a cute little tale of an overworked, overachieving woman loosening up, having fun, and finding love.  I liked uptight Tavey, and sweet, sexy Jack is a dream hero.  The only disappointment for me was that this was a “Plain Brown Wrapper Fetish” title, so I was hoping for a bit more spice.  Still, Jade Rivers has written a fun story with Slicker, and I’m looking forward to checking out more of her work in the future.
