Gabby is an aspiring actress, and a dog walker to pay the bills.  She has been friends with Derek for a while now and while he is one of the sexiest guys she knows, and a yoga instructor to boot, they are just friends.  She may fantasize about him but, in her mind he is off limits as it would kill the friendship.

Derek is there when Gabby needs him whether to talk about guys or just life in general.  But, will Gabby take him for granted or will she finally let her fantasies take reign.

Waiting for the Big One is a fast paces story about learning what is really important to you before it is too late.  Oh and great sex should be part of any relationship.  I thoroughly enjoyed this story but I thought that the constant referral to the zodiac signs to be a bit distracting and unneeded.  That being said Waiting for the Big One is still a great start to a new series.
