Remi lives a full life in New Orleans in
spite of his blindness. One day while taking a random walk
across the city, he encounters a man like no other. Donovan
appears to be the ideal man for Remy, except that he
disappears without warning and stays gone for indefinite
periods of time.
Donovan magically appears in New Orleans
out of a graffiti painting through no control of his own. He
never knows how long he has been “gone” or how long he will be
able to stay, but Donovan does know that Remy is the man for
him and he wants to stay with Remy permanently, but how to
fight something he doesn’t understand?
What It Takes is a
wonderful story where love conquers all, just not in the ways
we expect. As usual Willa Okati delivers a steamy love story
that takes unexpected paths to unconventional endings. Both
Remi and Donovan are wonderful to read about, but as a bonus
we get to visit with the characters of All It Takes.
The sexual chemistry between Remy and Donovan is explosive,
and wonderful to read. What It Takes is an
entertaining story that you will enjoy on a lazy afternoon. I
will definitely be on the lookout for the next book on this
series.
This is the second book of the Graffiti
series, but it can be read as a stand alone book. |
