Ash and Trey make a really good team, in love and in business.  Ash is a seeker.  He leaves his body to find lost things, living and inanimate.  Trey is a minder. He collects and gathers what Ash finds in his out-of-body searches and he takes care of Ash while he’s in his seeker state of mind.  Their life is good and having a third person in their relationship was never a thought.  They especially would never consider a sprite, and a female one at that. So what if she had a male body on loan?

Ash, Trey, and the Aether Sprite is quite a bizarre story.  It’s also very imaginative with the sci-fi aspect of Ash and Trey’s futuristic detective business, but the Violet storyline is a bit peculiar.  Violet herself is one annoying character, but she did make me laugh a few times.  The overall story has a cute quirkiness to it and I found it rather humorous and entertaining.  For readers looking for a story that’s a departure from the usual paranormal sci-fi stories, and who like a bit of peculiarity, Ash, Trey, and the Aether Sprite is the perfect fit.
