Tattoo artist and owner of India Ink
Tattoo Parlor, thirty-five year old Mohan is renting space
in a Las Vegas Hotel where Aaron Chase is the VP of Special
Public Relations. Mohan is attracted to the twenty-eight
year old Aaron, but chooses not to make any advances due to
possible work relation complications. Also, Aaron is not
openly gay with the high-powered clients he works with or
his parents. Due to prior experiences, Mohan refuses to be
in a relationship with a man hiding his sexual preferences.
Mohan’s business space lease is in danger of not being
renewed and when free publicity events fall into place,
Mohan is suspicious of Aaron and blames Aaron for
manipulating the circumstances.
Mohan’s demanding and intimidating
personality doesn’t stop Aaron from pursuing Mohan. Mohan
has the attitude of “rough, tough take me as I am” while
Aaron has more charm and people skills. Inking Aaron
has two gorgeous men fighting, loving, and working,
sometimes together, to discover one another and their
futures. Aaron and Mohan’s attraction burns with office and
tattoo parlor scenes. I found some of the story transitions
disconcerting and would have enjoyed a longer, more drawn
out story, but overall Inking Aaron is fast
paced and humorous with characters both funny and at times
poignant. |
