Gaige Rizik, former Captain of the evil
sorcerer’s High Guard, is now recovering from the torture he
endured at the hands of the same sorcerer when he refused to
betray the secrets of the draegans' camp. However, when he
is rescued by his lover Keiran Hareldson, commander of the
draegan forces, Gaige must come to terms with his past as
the most lethal instrument in the sorcerer’s arsenal and his
new life within the draegan group. Keiran, on the other
hand, has complete faith that Gaige’s change of heart is
soul-deep and worthy of trust, but they must battle the
inherent prejudice of the members of the draegan fighters
who will judge Gaige for what he has been – and not what he
is now. In the middle of all of this, Gaige and Keiran must
also come to terms with the changes in them both as a result
of their bonding as true mates.
But as they struggle to bring together
a strong force to take against the sorcerer, evil stalks
them from an unexpected corner, forcing them to decide –
will they save each other or save all the draegans?
Lords of Kellesborne continues the fantastic
tale begun in True of Heart, weaving together a
compelling mix of love, fantasy, intrigue, and magic. Gaige
is coming into his own as he acknowledges his heritage and
the effects of his true-mating with Keiran while he
delicately balances love and honor with redemption for past
sins. Keiran continues to reveal surprising aspects of
himself, keeping the story flowing smoothly to a climax
while still leaving a huge cliff-hanger that one can only
hope will be resolved in the next installment of this
series. Just like in the previous book, the heat of the
encounters between Gaige and Keiran will leave you panting.
Lords of Kellesborne is a fast-paced,
magic-filled book that will transport you to an unusual
world where the impossible is real! |
