Tressa Jayne Turner, aka “Calamity
Jayne” has had enough of “Ranger Rick” Townsend’s treating
her as if she was the ice cream that he had the right to
lick whenever he wanted.
Right now though, she has more
important things to worry about. Specifically, the Iowa
State Fair which is her Uncle Frank’s busiest time of year,
which is when she helps him out.
Who is attempting to sabotage Uncle
Frank? And, of course, why? Jayne is first going to solve
this mystery and perhaps afterwards take Ranger Rick for the
ride of his life.
Kathleen Bacus has a writing style that is reminiscent of
Janet Evanovich, yet is totally her own. Her characters are
well drawn out and well utilized.
Calamity Jayne Rides
Again starts of quick and maintains this pace
through to the end of the book.
Calamity Jayne Rides
Again is definitely a book for those moments you
just want to forget about the world and go for a good
mystery and giggle at the same time. |
