A chance meeting at a RomantiCon
conference marks the beginning of huge changes for a group
of women, including Monica Allen when they start a blog
called Tempt the Cougar. Monica is tired of spending
her Friday nights alone so she issues a challenge to her
friends and herself: start acting on their fantasies and
find a younger man to make them come true.
Monica catches the interest of
graduate student, Sam Lincoln the minute she walks into his
bar. With the help of his friend, Josh, Sam hopes to turn
one night of uninhibited pleasure into a chance for a future
together.
Play it Again, Sam by
Samantha Kane was charming and funny. I found it easy to
relate to Monica because she is a beautiful woman who has
gone through some hardships in life and is ready to put the
past behind her. Like many of us, she just doesn't know
where to start. That's where Sam comes in. He is very
likable. He's considerate and gentle, but also has a
definite determination to get what he wants. Although this
is the first time I have read Ms. Kane's work I enjoyed it
very much and hope to read her future writings. |
