Forest Ranger Kate Jeffries has been stranded in the high Rockies for a number of days now.  The fact she is stranded is only helping to let her imagination run wild about her co-worker.  Forest Ranger Eric Lathem is one hunk of a guy but since he is ten years her junior she has kept her attraction to herself, thinking the age difference will definitely put him off.  But, he is the one to come to her rescue and it seems he has other plans for her before he takes her down the mountain. 

Cold Fire is a fast paced erotic addition to the Snowbound series. While the erotic scenes were highly erotic and I love the idea of an older woman, younger man I was greatly annoyed by the final scene in the story.  I felt the final scene was unnecessary when “something” is revealed. It left me thinking what the heck does that have to do with anything, and therefore leaving me with an annoyed feeling about what other than that had been one snow melting good story.  Other than the ending as I said I thought Cold Fire was a well written hot, I mean snow melting hot, story.
