Nilana has hunted alone for a long
time. She is one of the strongest hunters in her pack. She
is a strong woman is both her human form and when she has
shape shifted and she is convinced that no man, let alone
two of them, will ever be able to accept who and what she is
without wanting to change her. So she has convinced herself
that she will probably be alone forever. But, when another
tribe’s Shaman and leader come for the Harvest Hunt, she
will need to reconsider. Can the two convince their fantasy
woman that they want her as she is and that she might hold
the key to their tribe’s future?
A moonlit night sets the stage for
Hunting the Huntress, and will make you wonder at
those noises you hear outside (in the country), in months to
come when the moon is shining the brightest. Ms. Case has
found a way to meld together the ways of the pack animals,
strong hunters and human desires. Both men are very strong
characters but they do not want a woman who is not equally
strong. I found Hunting the Huntress to be an
intriguing and thoughtful story. Oh yeah, the erotic scenes
didn’t hurt either. |
