Drake Varna, Ferda Wallace, Rand Farar and Rand’s new donor Kalid Marant travel to Frannin, Zadde’s home planet to get some answers and more importantly the rest of their payment.

From the moment they land the crew is involved in computer tampering, theft, attempted murder and murder.  Never a dull moment for the two vampires and their mortal companions, it seems as if trouble follows wherever they go!

Investigation In Blood continues the adventures of this enterprising crew in space.  While I could understand the basic plot it would definitely be advantageous to have read the previous books in this ongoing series to fully understand the characters motivations.  There is wit, humor, excitement and very hot sex in this addition.  Investigation In Blood answers some questions and leaves others open for the next installment of which I look forward to.
