The last thing Angel Madison wants at
her high school reunion is to meet up with Giorgio Lorenza.
Unfortunately, her best friend, Tina, has other plans. Angel
realizes too late that she has been set up, and finds
herself forced to spend time with the man who played Romeo
to her Juliet in more than just the play. How can she
survive a day with the man she has never stopped loving,
without telling him the secret she has held for the last
twenty years?
Romeo’s Revenge is the
first in the Reunion series of books by Mimi Riser. Angel
and Giorgio both have secrets to tell, and both are afraid
those secrets will tear apart any hope they have of getting
back together. This was a fun, well written story with lots
of emotion and angst. The sex was hot, as always for Ms.
Riser, and totally enjoyable. I do feel this story could
have been better presented in a longer length, though. I was
not happy with the way certain things were resolved and
accepted so quickly by the characters despite the rationale
given, and in some cases, because of the rationale given.
All in all a cute story of a love once thought lost
rekindled to a high flame. |
