Nathaniel is being groomed to take over
his father’s business. His father is harping on him to hang
with the right people, marry the perfect wife and portray
the perfect businessman. Ryan spies Nathaniel walking by his
shop and peering in the window at the leather items he
carries. Over the course of time, Ryan gets Nathaniel to
loosen up and go out for a night on the town with him. A
night in which Nathaniel is informed he’s not allowed to say
“I can’t or I shouldn’t” living only for the moment and what
makes him happy. That night becomes a night when Nathaniel
finally breaks free and begins to become the person he wants
to be.
Ryan and Nathaniel are total opposites. Ryan is outgoing
versus Nathaniel’s quiet, reserved nature. That is until
Ryan brings out the rebelliousness in Nathaniel. Rhianne
Aile is an incredible writer who in covers a lot of
background in a small amount of time. Second Skin
has a well laid out plot with a lovely ending and I loved
every word of it. |
