Nick misses Dan even though their relationship was really a series of encounters whenever their schedules coincided.  And really, it should have been Nick dead at a young age not Dan – after all Dan was a lab geek while Nick is a rock star…but a surprise bequest in Dan’s will changes Nick’s life forever by bringing Tex into his life.

The Year of Spooky Dee is a touching story about loss and unexpected gains.  Nick is a surprisingly deep man and it shows in his wonder at his relationship with Tex.  Both Nick and Tex will evoke a sense of wonder that will leave you smiling at the end of the story.  The Year of Spooky Dee is a wonderfully sweet story that is not to be missed!
