The Countess of Westington does what she wants, when she wants.  If she wants a lover, she gets one.  Her life is her own and while she may be one of the most scandalous women in London, Clara does have certain things she doesn’t want her stepson to find out – especially the small matter of having woken up tied to the bed of Jonathan Masters, one of the ton’s staunchest and most moral of men.

I laughed out loud when Clara awoke tied to the bed. I couldn’t help it. She was livid and I loved how she covered her fear with anger.  Jonathan, on the other hand, was not as fun as Clara, but it was fun watching him fall for such a wild woman as Clara was.  His life as he knew it changed when Clara pushed her way in and I can’t help but admit it was a change for the better.

Lavinia Kent has a fun read with Bound by Temptation.  Both characters were tempted all right – and they fell right into each others arms.  Historical romance lovers can’t ask for anything better!
