Justine Diamond and Zachery Wayne met
each other during a cruise. To both it seemed it was love
at first sight. However, much to Justine’s heartbreak,
Zachery left without a single word. He quite frankly
vanished almost into thin air and Justine told herself that
she didn’t need him. But she lied.
The hardest thing Zachery has ever done
was leave Justine over a year ago on that cruise ship. He
has never forgotten her or stopped desiring her. When he
sees her again, he is shattered to find that she hates him
and won’t even let him explain why he left. In spite of
this, Zachery vows that Justine will know the truth and how
much he loves her.
He might even have a little paranormal
help on the side.
Lost and found love is one of my
favorite plots. Misconstrued emotions, hurt, anger – most
characters run the gamut between happy, sad, and angry.
Justine was no different except for one thing. In her anger
and sadness she became a shrew. A very big one. One that I
found I couldn’t stomach. My dislike of Justine was so much
that I prayed for Zachery to tell her to go stuff herself.
Alas, he was a better person than me. He loved her in spite
of her complete stubbornness and horrible personality. He
loved her enough to accept her for what she was and how she
handled her anger and hurt.
It Takes Two is about
forgiveness and new beginnings. Justine and Zachery both
had a lot to forgive and forget in order for their
relationship to become one of partners and lovers. In spite
of it all, true love reigned. |
