Constable Miranda is at the hospital investigating a beating that occurred at a local diner when she sees the lovely nurse, Lorraine.  Miranda finds herself attracted to the nurse but she has a job to do.  When a series of coincidences end with Miranda in the hospital with a concussion she wonders if maybe Lorraine could turn out to be more then a friend.

Coffee Kisses was a sweet read.  The accident that put Miranda into the hospital is funny, though it had to hurt.  I recommend this even if you do not normally read lesbian romances.  There is only a bit of kissing along the lines of a sweet romance.
