Alana is a horse trainer with the gift of telepathy. Rhys is a Death Hunter for the Vampire race. The unlikely pair meet when Rhys is trying to buy a horse from Alana’s boss. The attraction between the two is strong and Rhys believes Alana is his mate. Alana is very unsure and is worried, but also excited when she can’t read Rhys. When Rhys reveals his true nature, will Alana be able to withstand the pull of his hunger? Will she want to?

Kentucky Hunger was EXCELLENT! Rhys and Sophia Danu enthralled me from the beginning. I was trying to resist the seductive pull of this novel, but it was no use. I was hoping Rhys would come out and bite me! He is one HOT hero and Alana is a perfect match.  Ms. Danu had me on the edge of my seat with a couple curve balls she threw into the story.  She knows how to keep you guessing and wanting more. 

I hope Ms. Danu writes more in her world of vampires because I loved Kentucky Hunger and I am Joyfully Recommending it!
