Cyndi Marks has returned to Jamesville,
after running away years before, because her estranged father
has died and surprisingly, left her everything. Cyndi knows
it is just a matter of time before people realize who she is
and what she is doing back. She hopes to accomplish her goal
of running a vacation bed and breakfast using her childhood
home but evidently, if the sabotage that keeps blundering her
from every turn is any indication, someone does not want her
to succeed. Meeting Shamus O’Rourke is another complication
she does not need. It seems that she is a person from his
family’s past that could tear his family apart.
Shamus O’Rourke knows one thing. He is
completely infatuated with Cyndi Marks and can’t stop thinking
about her. Every day he yearns for her more until there is no
denying his feelings. When he finds out her true identity, he
vows that it doesn’t matter. And to him it doesn’t. His
family, however, has something to say about that and Shamus
just isn’t in the mood to listen.
N. J. Walters has made my life complete.
I have been lying in wait for Shamus to find his heroine and
when I saw the coming soon pages of Samhain, I anticipated a
story like no other. With The Seduction of Shamus
O’Rourke I was once again treated to the sights and
sounds and close knit community of Jamesville. I was able to
see characters from previous books. But most of all, I was
able to watch my favorite O’Rourke’s story unfold in a novel
worthy of him. Shamus is loyal with a capital “L” and when he
loves, he loves unconditionally and that is exactly what Cyndi
needed although she felt unworthy.
The Seduction of Shamus O’Rourke
is a novel about forgiveness and loyalty. It is about
unconditional love. Most of all, it is about the coming
together of two unlikely characters who are meant to be
soul-mates. Cyndi and Shamus are those characters and N. J.
Walters has my undying gratitude for penning a novel worthy of
both. I Joyfully Recommend The Seduction of Shamus
O’Rourke – It was just that wonderful. |
