Harrier’s Healer is book
two in Aliyah Burke’s The Megalodon series and can be
read independently.
For the past two years the only woman
who had consumed Naval SEAL Scott Leighton’s mind was Dr.
Alexis Rogets. Each time he saw her, the more he longed to
taste and to hold her ebony beauty. Yet, whenever they were
near each other Alexis always managed to keep Scott at arm’s
length by maintaining a strictly professional relationship.
Well, enough was enough! Alexis was about to discover that
she could no longer use the Navy as a barrier between them.
As an experienced Navy doctor, nothing
too much got to Alexis Rogets, until she met Navy SEAL
Commander Scott Leighton about two years ago. From that
moment forth the handsome, blond, blue-eyed hunk stayed on
her mind constantly. Alexis knew that they could never be
together due to the Navy rules and rank issues, but Alexis
soon learned that a determined Navy SEAL was very hard to
resist.
Harrier’s Healer was a
wonderful story that stuck with me long after I completed
reading it. I so enjoyed the dynamic interactions between
Alexis and Scott. There was never a dull moment to be found
with Harrier’s Healer. The plot was very
intriguing and flowed at a rapid pace, all while the
dialogue was humorous and downright sexy. From start to
finish, I was on an emotional rollercoaster. I laughed, I
cried, I screamed with frustration and most of all I was
breathless with great desire. Whew! With that said, I
couldn’t do nothing more than bestow Aliyah Burke’s
