Olivia Jordan is just your typical EMT.   When she and her ambulance partner go out on a gunshot victim call late one evening, Olivia expects it to be just another call.  After getting into a terrible car accident while they’re bringing the victim to the hospital and gaining consciousness in a thread-bare cell-like room, she realizes things aren’t what they seem.  Chained to the wall on a small bed, interrogated by muscular and sexy as sin captor Garrick Blackthorn, feisty Olivia gives her kidnapper a run for his money, but she quickly learns that there’s more to Garrick than meets the eye.  Something dangerous.  Something secret.  A secret that others will kill before revealing.

I loved Bad to the Bone!  I’d recently read another one of Vivi Anna’s works, Blood Secrets, so when I had the opportunity to read Bad to the Bone, I jumped on it with both feet.  The characters entranced me; not only Olivia with her strength and assertiveness, but also Garrick with his darker Alpha side combined with compassion and the almost superhuman strength he has at reigning in his overpowering sexuality and lust.  The sparks between the hero and heroine are explosive, so be prepared to turn down the air conditioner on this one!  I joyfully give Bad to the Bone a very Recommended Read and look forward to reading Ms. Vivi Anna’s works in the future.
