Aeron is the keeper of the Demon of
Wrath. He can look inside a person and know exactly what
that person has done in his/her lifetime. More often than
not, this knowledge makes Aeron and his demon very angry.
Wrath is rarely quiet, but lately however, Aeron has been
sensing another presence in his life. A presence that is
not making itself known and it is driving Aeron and his
demon crazy. Aeron threatens the unknown company, even
going so far as to dare it to come into his life. Aeron has
no idea how much this has been disturbing him until he
finally sees who has been following him. And she is
wearing white and used to have wings. Her beauty is
incomparable and she makes his demon purr. Aeron knows that
to touch her means her ruin and that is something he isn’t
willing to do. Besides, he already has a woman, or rather,
a young girl, in his life and the demon Legion isn’t willing
to share.
Just when I think Gena Showalter
couldn’t possibly make her Lords of the Underworld
series more unique, she comes up with the plot for The
Darkest Passion. Who knew that a fallen angel and a
demon could be so sexy? Aeron falls for Olivia and fights
it every step of the way, and when he is unwilling to fight
his feelings any longer, that’s when his true nature as a
loyal, loving, and caring man comes through.
Self sacrifice and true love are the
name of the game in The Darkest Passion. With
sexual tension hot enough to melt wax, Olivia and Aeron’s
love story is truly one of my favorite. I laughed and cried
reading this love story and I wouldn’t have had it any other
way. I joyfully recommend Gena Showalter’s newest Lords
of the Underworld installment. It will stay with you
long after you have read the last word. |
