Inspector Michael Devane and his wife Bethany return to England after their honeymoon.  Bethany’s best friend Daphne Ashton pays a visit to the couple requesting Michael’s help locating her lover.

An Unspoken Betrayal is Denyse Bridger’s version of the famous serial killings of Jack the Ripper.  I found Michael’s empathic abilities interesting, and his revelations thought provoking.  There are love scenes between Michael and Bethany, but the main focus of the story is the unsolved murders.
