The date is a set up, and Merci is a part of it.  Merci is prepared to deal with an SOB.  Chris rings the door bell and is taken aback when he discovers Merci is black, but excited by the possibilities too.  As the evening progresses, Chris and Merci find that they really like each other and want to continue dating.

Blind Date is a sensual story of two people who meet on a date with different expectations; Veronica Tower shows that sometimes the sparks between a man and woman can alter the best laid plans and develop into a long-lasting relationship.  This is a very enjoyable story.
