Cat Crawfield is all vampire hunter.  Despite being half vampire herself, Cat is determined to eliminate Ohio’s vampire population.  Encouraged by her mother, Cat spends her evenings in seedy bars, luring vampires to their deaths. 

Cat has a one hundred percent success rate until she is captured by a master vampire who calls himself, Bones.  Seeing potential in Cat, Bones makes Cat an offer.  Cat can accept his training and team up with him or Bones will kill her.   

Jeaniene Frost’s debut novel, Halfway to the Grave sucked me right into the vampire world of Cat and Bones.  Because Halfway to the Grave has an ongoing story line, there is no happily ever after for Cat and Bones in this book.  I am already stalking Jeaniene Frost’s website for news about the next book in this series.  I need more Cat and Bones!
