Distinguished Scientist Vonna has been
captured. She and the rest of her crew were supposed to be
setting down on an uninhabited planet to collect samples of
plant life when suddenly they are attacked. Vonna is taken
captive and sold at a slave auction to a reputed brutal man.
When she comes to, after being stunned, she finds herself in a
room filled with various restraints and sadistic devices,
which both terrify her and seem to excite her. She is
stunned when the handsome lab owner is nice to her and
introduces her to others in the lab and asks her to work to
try and find a cure for what is killing the population of the
planet.
Yale hasn’t been attracted to anyone like
this Earthling since the death of his wife. He is close to
fading himself from the crippling disease that is attacking
his people. There is a way to quickly stop the progression of
the disease but he is not willing to take that way and wants
to find a cure. But, the more that he sees Vonna and
interacts with her the more he is convinced that she is the
perfect submissive and just needs to be shown how good it
could be.
Vonna and Yale grown closer
professionally but will they ever cross the invisible line and
delve into BDSM together, and let their attraction grow?
No Way Around It was an
interesting take on both light BDSM and, that just because a
woman is a scientist doesn’t mean she is not also feminine,
with wants and needs of her own. I thought the author did a
good job setting the stage of the BDSM without making it
forced and by still allowing the woman a lot of choices. I
found No Way Around It to be fast paced and
enjoyable. |
