Mike is always there for Jay every time
he moves, not only from his current living arrangement, but
also from his current partner. This time, however, Mike is
at a loss on how to help Jay. Jay’s partner has died and
left him with unfinished dreams and Mike is left to pick up
the pieces. How to do that without betraying his feelings
to Jay - or himself - will be the hard part.
When I picked up Moving Day I wasn’t prepared
for the emotional punch it packs! Mike has always been
ambivalent about his sexuality, mainly because he has been
in love with Jay and unable to admit it even to himself.
But this time helping Jay pick up the pieces of his life is
harder than either of them expected. Jaime Samms did a
great job of setting up a highly moving story about two men
finally finding themselves and how they discover their way
to one another. Moving Day is an emotionally
gripping story that will keep you on the edge waiting to see
if Mike and Jay finally make their way to each other. |
